Thank you for visiting Devan Rubenis Fine Art. Each piece of artwork is created with care and intention, and I want the purchasing and commissioning process to be as clear and enjoyable as possible. The following policies apply to purchases made through this website.

Original Artwork

All original paintings offered for sale are one-of-a-kind works of art. Because each piece is handmade, minor variations, brushwork, texture, and imperfections are a natural part of an original painting and should be expected.

Colors may appear slightly different depending on your monitor, phone, or other device. Every effort is made to photograph and represent each artwork as accurately as possible.

Once an original artwork has been purchased and payment has been received, it will be carefully packaged and shipped according to the shipping information provided at checkout.

Commissions

Commissioned artwork is created specifically for the client and requires an agreed-upon deposit before work begins. Commission details, pricing, dimensions, estimated completion time, and payment schedule will be discussed and agreed upon before the project begins.

Because commissioned artwork is created specifically for the individual client, commission deposits are non-refundable once work has begun.

The final artwork may contain natural variations from reference photographs. These variations are part of the handmade nature of the artwork and do not constitute defects.

Payment

Payment must be received according to the terms agreed upon at the time of purchase or commission.

For commissioned artwork, the remaining balance must be paid before the completed artwork is shipped or delivered unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Returns & Refunds

Because original and commissioned artwork is individually created and carefully prepared for each customer, all artwork sales are final.

Returns and refunds are not accepted simply because a customer changes their mind after purchase.

If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact me as soon as possible after delivery and provide photographs of the packaging and artwork. I will work with you to determine the appropriate resolution.

Shipping

Artwork will be packaged carefully to help protect it during transit. Shipping times may vary depending on the destination, carrier, and time of year.

Once an order has been shipped, delivery is the responsibility of the shipping carrier. Devan Rubenis Fine Art is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, or circumstances beyond my control.

Any applicable shipping charges will be communicated at the time of purchase.

Copyright & Artwork Usage

All artwork, photographs, website content, logos, and other creative materials displayed on this website are the property of Devan Rubenis Fine Art unless otherwise stated.

Purchasing an original painting or commissioned artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights to the purchaser. Copyright remains with the artist.

Artwork may not be reproduced, copied, altered, scanned, commercially used, or reproduced on products without written permission from the artist.

The artist reserves the right to photograph and display completed commissioned artwork for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, and other promotional purposes unless a different arrangement has been agreed upon with the client beforehand.
